Norman
Amundson, Ph.D. is a professor of counselling psychology in the Faculty
of Education, University of British Columbia. He has over twenty-five
years of experience as a counsellor educator and is the current editor
of the Journal of Employment Counselling.
His publications include over
60 journal articles and several books including Active Engagement
(winner of the 2000 Canadian Counselling Association Best Book award),
Career
Pathways, At the Controls: Charting Your Course Through Unemployment
(over 1 million in print), and his newest book: The Physics of Living.
Dr. Amundson has been a workshop
presenter and keynote speaker for many different associations and conferences.
His work has a significant national and international flavour and includes
presentations in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Hungary, France, London,
New Zealand, Australia, Israel, Poland, the United States, and China.
Gray
Poehnell is a creative consultant and author with broad experience in the
research, development, and facilitation of employment counselling programs.
Gray also has experience as a technical writer and graphic designer in
the preparation of career resources and so is able to address presentation
as well as content issues.
